FITTING FAMILIES AND RESEARCH STRATEGYThe Case of Home-Working FamiliesFifteen work-at-home families (57 adults and children) participated in a qualitative study examining their work-family interaction. Interviews with parents and children, time logs, and observations portrayed a family life where work-family roles were ambiguous and where work demands were rearranged to meet family needs.
